During summer orientation sessions (which all students who graduated in the 2013-2014 school year are required to attend), the “Passport to SAM” program allows students and their families to review extracurricular activities available at Sam Houston State
University. This is a great opportunity to recruit new members for your organization.
In order to showcase your organization to incoming students, please submit this OrgLINK form online by
5:00 pm on Friday, May 30.
Registered student organizations will receive first priority in placement.
Passport to Sam will be held in the Johnson Coliseum.
Groups must arrive at 6:00 pm to check in with a Leadership Initiatives representative and set up. If a group does not remain at the program the entire allotted time, members will not be allowed to participate in future passports.
Select any of the following dates in which your organization would like to participate in Passport to Sam:
An 8 ft. table will be provided for registered organizations. Organizations may request to be placed near a power outlet; however, you must provide your own extension cords, laptops, audiovisual equipment, etc.
Organizations will be assigned based on registration submission date and according to category grouping. You are not guaranteed power and will be contacted if your request can not be met.
